The ultimate in Meteor 'heavy breathers' must have been RA490 in its 'deflected jet' configuration.

Powered by twin Nene engines, it was flown at speeds as low as 70 KIAS in deflected state. I hate to think how it would have handled in the event of a single engine failure on the approach.....
