I did notice when I came through LCY a couple of days ago that the two PCs with machine guns were stationed on the exit side of security, heading into the shops area. Quite how that could be an effective position for them escaped me.
Meanwhile I see that in the BBC news item, above, they are all sycophantic about the former Olympic cycling athlete who climbed onto the aircraft. However they fail to mention that he was subsequently banned from the sport for a doping scandal
