Since writing my earlier post I found out the IAA may not accept the 9 PPL exams from the UK, but I don't believe there's any issue with the 14 ATPL exams. The best way to find out is to just call them.

I'm in a similar situation except i'm doing my PPL training in Poland. Did you find any information on the RT exam ? From my understanding the isn't part of the IAA testing. Also did you find out if you can do the ELP test in the uk or do you have to go to ireland ?
You can do your ELP exam in the UK, but it must be with an ELP examiner.
