Probably under £50k, but training element only. Add accommodation & food.
Done in 24 month working part time, if you want to count "extras" don't forget I was earning a salary even during training (and right after).

If you're trying to justify the extra 70k € under "living expenses" that's 3900€/month in a 18 months course for a shared house...
120.000 euros for a CPL it's an honest price if you get 100 MEP hours. Anything other than that is pure profit or a hidden P2F, depending on how you want to see it.

And he's right, you can get a TR and 500 hours for less than that.
