Flying in this country is coming to an end at its all you spineless pilots and operators who are to blame !!!
its too late now to demand any sort of common sense ... you missed your chance . I have said for years that every single AOC company should stop paying and just do lease flights ...... that would certainly get their attention and things would change . But I don’t really care now as I have been outside the system for so long . Fly on the “ N “ !!!!!!!

NB ... sorry , looking at this rant it would have been better on the “ why bother with EASA “ !!!!!!
Hi Nigel
I've always had the impression your knowledge of operating N reg in the UK was impressive, hence the wink on my original comment as I guessed you were being light hearted.

I was more concerned that people often glean information from this site and assume comments by well established contributors are gospel, I just pointed out the regulation that restricts landing in congested area and may require permissions. Reference your comment that the Authority have no legal right to keep you, you might wish to check Article 261 which I think you may find does give them the right to inspect.

I may be one of the spineless pilots you are referring to but I do spend a fair portion of my time challenging the Authority's interpretation of regulations etc and like to think I have not yet rolled over and died :-)

Cheers
