Something to also consider, if you are embarking on integrated training you will most likely (depending on how your funding is arranged) require loss of training/licence/medical insurance during the course. If you have an interesting medical history, arranging this insurance may also take longer than expected as the underwriters will show increased interest. If you are in this position, then I would arrange this insurance in parallel with the process of obtaining your Class 1 to avoid any disappointment.
