I hear you on the corrupted memory cells! With the technology available it would sure be nice to be able to press a button at TDP and have the aircraft fly the exact CAT A profile with both pilots monitoring only. Hopefully things go that was soon in our industry. There have been way too many CFIT(W) crashes over the years in modern, 4-axis helicopters.
