To be fair to the journos (on this occasion at least), the Jerusalem Post photo was simply captioned "
A plane of Electra Airways. (photo credit: Wikimedia Commons)".
However the Times of Israel article (second of the OP's links) did show a photo of the aftermath of the incident, and the aircraft involved.
