Why would someone hire you if they have to give you additional training when there is someone else to hire who already has the qualification? Regardless of what the minimums say on the job advert, if lots of applicants have jet time and you don’t then they will get the job and you won’t. If applicants have an MCC and you don’t, who do you think gets the job? You are not, and never were, competing against the minimum requirements, you were competing against the other candidates.
