The wing is one piece with a center joint. Once joined, it is mounted under the fuselage by a small number of fittings only, fairly easy to separate again..You may call that 2 piece as well... But definitely no center wing box.The Flight global archive contains a nice multi pages report about the design of the L1649, don´t know the year by heart.
