Oh yes, mine has a power-steer pump as well (not that it's working, due to a mishap with a hose... :-)
Agree that it seems unusual. I would have a good look around for any random levers/valves that could have been bumped or displaced; I well recall on my larger Case 4WD having the arms jam full up and after spending a lot of time trying to figure it out I started dismantling the hydraulics - only to find an otherwise unidentified lever that was some sort of ratchet control and which had been helpfully moved by someone just a while before... not commenting on who that might have been
I've found the parts discs but it's a mission to try and sort the data out, still working on that.
