If an automatic system is doing something it's not supposed to do and is making control difficult, then there's one very obvious solution. Deactivate the bloody thing and revert to something more basic. To my way of thinking, that should be part of a pilot's basic training
They only need to fix MCAS implementation and training to deal with problems caused by MCAS.
737's weren't dropping out of the sky otherwise.
