We were over in italy for a short break in nov 2017 and managed to visit 2 aviation museums.
The first was the Italian Air Force museum on the shore of Lake Bracciano, this museum is in an idyllic setting at an old Seaplane Base - it is still an AFB but access was no problem using the public gate.
One of the nicest and best museums we have been to - we really did not want to leave.
I have only scratched the surface of a large and impressive collection.
Please note - off season there are no taxis - we did a lot of walking LOL

Distant shot of the museum taken from our apartment.

Some really nice and really rare aircraft.

Schneider Racers

Caproni Ca36

Caproni Campini N1
