There use to be a javelin and a Canberra at manston as gate guardians.Rumours have it the javelin was enroute from Cyprus it landed in a heavy storm and caused so much stress failure to body work it ended its carrear there and then.The squadron leader was so fond of the javelin he kept it on display believe it was broken up around 92/93 may be wrong .
