Perhaps not so dangerous, since it is a well practised memory item and should be contained in a moment. What is proving to be the real danger is the timing of the symptoms. With the added problems of other chaotic items, the MCAS's progress is
insidious - "proceeding in a gradual, subtle way, but with very harmful effects".
Just the word for this situation.
