Sometimes I wonder if this "get more women into aviation/mining/whatever is some sort of rort.
When was the last time you saw a campaign to get more men into teaching or nursing or hairdressing?
Thought there might have been support for the investment rather than knocking it. But hey, that’s the Ozzie way.
And I guess the reason why women are encouraged to take more interest in aviation is to leave a few spaces as hairdressers for the many men unable to aspire to the skies.
