On all the R22s I’ve ever flown, the empty lateral CofG had been on the centreline ie the lateral arm has been zero.
Hmm? I've never seen one that was zero? Most of the one's I've flown were negative, but its the handful that were positive I had to pay more attention to, as with them my calculated cg flying solo would be over the line requiring me to put balast under the passenger seat.
