Surprised that the recent passing of Fred Sutherland, Canadian front gunner on Les Knight's N-Nuts (the aircraft that breached the Eder Dam) on Operation Chastise hasn't been acknowledged on this site. Fred was one of the last 2 surviving Dambusters and his passing leaves our own Johnny Johnson as the sole remaining member of the esteemed 133 heroes that participated in that dramatic action.
