This is exactly correct, but it doesn’t matter. That battle was already lost when CX scraped the very bottom of the “pilot” ranks with their ridiculous C scale.The trainers kept signing off guys who can’t taxi, land, or even talk on the radios. “Ah, they’ll learn what they need on the line...”, making every captain a training captain on every flight. Then throw in the very fatiguing CMP patterns, and it’s getting close to game over. It’s disgusting, and now these guys are on the GC and represent a majority of CX pilots. Hence the very weak kneed TA, yet it all started with A scalers not being willing to fight back in 1993!
