The reading of the title is a human factors thing. Even if you don’t read it, you do realise you’re a dill a lot earlier when you do start reading the incorrect checklist. In saying that, it’s also a good human factors thing when the other guy or gal gives you a funny look to tell you you are a dill. Nothing like some honest communication.
At the end of the day it’s how we use checklists which is the problem. Especially when they are repetitive, and youre doing 5 sectors in a duty. We just don’t do it well in many respects.
