MCC post CPL

Hello everyone. I am towards the beginning of the practical portion of an ICAO to EASA license conversion and have a question regarding MCC.

I will finish converting CPL ME-IR and will apply for work, like my username says I have 550 hours as co-pilot in a multicrew jet. The type expired as after the company downsized I decided to make the permanent move to Europe (dual citizen).

Now I'm trying to find information about MCC afterwards. I know it's necessary for a first type rating, but I already hold a type rating (although expired). Do I need it to add to an EASA license?

If not, I did a jet-trainer in a 737 in my country and MCC obviously helps during sim assessment, can I just find a assessment prep and sim hours to get ready for an interview?

Just trying to prep (€€) for what's a requirement and what's a recommendation to find work later.

Thanks a lot.
