Hear Hear, well spoke Hugh. As someone who was there at the time they were the wrong choice against the other two, being Qantas and PanAm. Prior to their arrival PX was a World Class airline, but their Northern Hemisphere attitude, and belligerent ideas at times, were not suited to our way of operating, and helped to spawn the commencement of the downhill trend, which has slowly continued unabated and has culminated in the present state of the Company.
The new man has a big task ahead of him, and we can only hope that he comes to grips with the basic 4th floor cause(s) in a relatively short time, and takes a firm stand against outside influence and interference.
