Personally, I find the smell to be quite industrial in nature and disgusting, I do wonder what people are inhaling!
I too find the smell disgusting and this along with the huge amount of visible pollution (supposedly 'only water vapour') compared to tobacco makes me say I would prefer to be with tobacco smokers (I don't smoke at all, never have done).
