Logbook hours at EVA still count but the license and type rating may not. I believe QR will accept Taiwanese qualifications. Look at getting the rating onto your original license ASAP, you may need to pay for a SIM session but at least you are covered if you leave.
The Turkish Lira has fallen like a brick this year, a very unstable currency to be paid in without any exchange rate protection scheme. Terrorist attacks a big concern, many former colleagues who went there have since left because of this. Otherwise, not a bad job for a Captain, F/O maybe not so good.
Emirates will work you into exhaustion on the B777, bit easier on the A380.
