They used to pay for University for your kids after x number of years service back in the day
Not sure that was ever true. They used to pay for boarding school fees outside of Brunei but that ceased around 2009 when their (the pilots and engineers) pay structure changed from mirroring the Shell system to becoming local pay plus some extra elements (BSP pilots are not Shell staff, but are directly employed by BSP, which is not itself a Shell operated company).
