Emirates (UAE) granted more traffic rights to France (5 daily flights) and Canada (5 weekly flights). Due to this additional flights to CDG, LYS and YYZ will added by short notice in August.
I thought that the EU negotiated right on behalf of all EU states. From what you are saying it appears the French have an opt out, or are air traffic rights for third countries, outside the EU agreed at national level?
If they are agreed nationally, then one of more dire warning about a no deal Brexit may be overblown.
