Don't have a crystal ball, can't predict the future, but under FedEx the past has been good for LGG. Since taking over, FedEx spent €100 million renovating/upgrading the sort, employment, routes, and fleet have gone up. Also LGG is a stop on the West-bound RTW (MEM-SEA-ANC-PVG-LGG-MEM). Rumors are West Atlantic has a contract to add 4 B378s (first one is confirmed/onsite), and FedEx is to work with the airport to expand the apron. Last year, FedEx announced the goal is LGG the highest performing Euro sort, so maybe year 11 could be good. Otoh FedEx still trucking from CGN US-origin containers...
