In an ideal world yes, but we’re hardly dealing with monks in the aviation world. I would guess that pilots and controllers are among the people with the biggest egos around. Not judging just observing. It’s very difficult if not impossible to remain calm when something like this is happening. I got slightly riled watching the video from my chair, having had a similar situation.
Maybe we should learn more about how we can improve in this regard?
