Perfectly said. The old tried and always failed colonial attitude and standard practice. Incompetence being the most core characteristic of the management teams and individuals running this joint, at all levels. Back to the original subject, they treat us all like sh!t. Even if they now somehow treat us all equally, it still leaves a lot to be desired. People are not commodities. They're the heart of the organization, whether it's a commercial or military organization. This lesson has been learned the hard way periodically in human history since the ancient times and yet these geniuses running this organization insist on learning lessons the hard way, the stupid way, from their own mistakes and they fail at even that low level of learning.
I sat thru 45 minutes of RH giving his pep talk speech during fleet forum recently. For 45 minutes of talking (...and at times whispering) he talked all about the strategic and tactical challenges, competition, fleet deployments and market forces and pressures etc. basically how we face challenges in business terms. The man never once used the word People, never mind Our People. Never once said how unless we all stand behind the company's efforts, we won't succeed. Like our help or good will doesn't matter or is just assumed. Not even a fake display of people skills or leadership charisma. That's how out of touch and clueless of a leaders we have here, top to bottom. Exceptions are too few and far in between. Without our good will and effort, nothing they attempt will work. This basic fact is badly lost of them. They have no idea how high the level of bad will is among the employees and how much money it's costing the company every single day.
