Change the time routine for taking the Amlodopine and see what happens?
You don't specify the dose. Amlodopine standardly comes in 10mg pills. Subject to medical advice, of course, you could buy a pill cutter and reduce the dose to 7.5mg for a few days to see if that made any difference.
In any event, when dealing with medication for blood pressure, the only course to follow is a medically approved one.
Take a urine sample in a jam jar to the doctor and ask him to whack a dipstick into it.
Spire hospitals typically charge £16 for a urine test.
You can buy a bottle of dipsticks yourself at the pharmacy for a fraction of that per test. No wonder the private medical insurance premiums are so extortionate.
