Since online check in is on the rise it’s becoming harder and harder to control the increasing amount of hand luggage coming directly to the gates, airlines are all about saving money so paying for as little as possible for example some flights will have 1 gate agent on a 25 minute spin, making it almost impossible to control and limit the amount of baggage that goes on board, also the lack of scales airside is another one, they’ll clock on soon and I guess everything will be like FR, EZY and W6 soon paying to guarantee hand luggage in the cabin.
