He did work for CASA. He was an Australian Army pilot that served to protect this country for over 20 years.
His military record is extensive, he is a Vietnam war veteran.
He trained more airforce and army pilots then most of you couldn’t even came close to knowing in five life times. He taught the now deased King of Thailand how to fly.
He flew many different types of aircraft in just as many countries. He landed planes on the side of mountains! And on beaches with no landing gear...
He had big ******* balls and was probably one of the most skilled pilots of his time.
He was also a very safe pilot that checked and rechecked a hundred times before taking off.... I know this because it used to drive me crazy as a kid. I appreciated it when I got older but trust me... my Dad was a safe pilot. I spent a great deal of my childhood on airfields and in aeroplanes with Ian Sinnott and he was a safe pilot.
A wing came off the plane, and I wouldn’t refer to a Sonerai as an ultra light aircraft. The investigation is still underway coming up to a year later. My father had purchased the Sonerai barely six weeks before the crash. It was a fault with the aircraft that caused the crash..
It was not pilot error.
My father wasn’t a King or a Superhero but he was a great Dad and ******* Ace Pilot!
To the the idiots that don’t care or just feel the need please Don’t disrespect my mother, my father or his memory!
