BAe 146-100: What will happen to the routes where a DC-10 is needed? Will G-BYDA cover these flights?
We could use the A320s, or the A321s, or the B757s, or the B767s, or the A330-200s, or the A333-300s, or yes G-BYDA. If the MyTravel fleet allows for one thing, it’s choice . A lot of people forget that, unlike the DC10-30, the DC10-10 is a short-haul aircraft.

As woderick said, due to capacity reduction, it’s more a case of these three DC10-10s plus N571RY that was retired in May not being need at all. G-BYDA will be flying a long-haul programme this winter and I guess will be kept on as a long-haul standby aircraft for S04.

P.S. Should this thread not be in Airlines, Airports and Routes?
