They wouldn't need a 457 visa for more than a few very experienced pilots in the M/E who would be happy to take a D8 Command in BNE and not be looking to run away to a jet job at the first opportunity ie long term employment stability for the company. That is assuming there are no upgradeable F/O's of course.
