Sangay Hi, I was asked this question again the other day in Nepal. BCAA need to simply write a policy statement that says you guys are flying as a co-pilot for the x number of hours. The same situation here with the co-pilots, they fly, log experience and when they reach the required number, they do the full capacity checks and are then allowed up to 7000’. Then more PIc practice and other checks then up to 10,000’. After a few thousand hours and checks they get signed off up to Everest’s Base Camp at 17, and change. I wrote the criteria before and all that was needed was the BCAA endorsement to put the plan into place.
