Getting cut loose from an intergrated course is for the best.
Don’t be disheartened by this.
I hope others will learn from your experience.
You are now a free agent.
Your ATPL exams should count.
Now listen, this is important.
Get a FAA PPL and start hour building.
Part 61 is cheaper than Part 141 schools.
An instructor that you connect with is more important than the school or plane.
Do it, like right now.
You are now in a race to do better than your class mates.
Prove them all wrong.
Go.

Read it, inwardly digest, and then thank him for some excellent advice.
Apart from AAA in San Diego, you can also do EASA training up to CPL at FIT in Melbourne.
