Well that's a pity. There was a Pilot post at Travis from at least the early 60s, if not earlier, plus a Nav post for the first half of the 70s. I imagine that the USAF Exchange programme must now be barely a shadow of its early 70s existence when there were about 120 of us out there. Indeed, at that time I recall the then Head of BDLS saying that the RAF presence (Exchange, projects, etc) in the USA was second only to RAFG in size as regards ex-UK numbers. Different days.
