I would be very careful with what you do with your new uniform.
From good sources I believe the new one will no longer be 'replace as required' as the last one was. You will be allowed a set issue per year (not a full exchange). And anything above and beyond (ie poor care of the uniform, accidents etc) you will have to pay for the replacements. And they are expensive !
Remember it is your, not the company's, responsibility to keep the uniform in good knick !
It may be worth the few dollars it takes to dryclean the uniform.
We are fortunate at longhaul, thankfully QF still do all of our uniform drycleaning for us for free ! But then again, we dont get the allowance!
