Well, it's decided then. I think I'll be going to Tokyo for the year. I can break the contract and come home if I want, but that means I can never work for the company again, but if I got a job with Qantas I wouldn't be going back anyway!!!

Biscuit, it's with Nova, and I'm not sure of the exact location in Tokyo, they will tell me closer to the date of me leaving. Now I just have to break the news to my family...heehee

I've actually got another question regarding the QF shortlist.

I was just wondering, if they were to ring me one day and offer me a casual position, and I turned it down because casual isn't suitable to my needs, would I still be on the shortlist and be considered for other recruitments, or would that be my chance gone, and I'd be taken off the shortlist??

Would many of you accept a casual position? I don't know what I'd do yet. It'd be pretty hard to turn anything down! Are you able to move upto permanent from casual after a period of time?
