Alright guys so I did get the marksheet verification as per this method and yes it works . I got my marksheets downloaded from the link shared above and got them attested. I sent them along with all other documents for obtaining computer number and I got it without any hasle.
Also DGCA has stated in guidelines that it accepts online marksheet verification for the boards which allow for it.
SO , YES IT WORKS AND WILL WORK.
