That would make so much sense it almost certainly won't happen! JQ being narrow body Airbus only? Lean and streamlined, concentrating on sectors up to 6 hours? Could even look at hubbing out of Darwin to Asia, but do it properly this time!

You couldn't see it happening as it would mean giving up flights such as MEL/SYD-SGN and MEL/SYD-HNL and they wouldn't want to give those sectors to QF would they? So that means two types for JQ international.
It's interesting though, I have friends who travel to DPS on a regular basis and are long time QF FF's and will naturally not fly QF because of the aircraft or JQ because it's just no good (according to them) and therefore only fly Garuda. Would fly QF as a pinch if they had the 787's though.
Other friends have done the Vietnam trip a few times and will only use Vietnam Airlines but would use QF if they went there. I think that those issues/arguments have been done to death though haven't they?
