The QF guys didn’t go back to have a career on the 737....which is pretty much what they’d have at JQ.
They went back to have a career on different fleet types, more varied flying, better conditions and more lifestyle/work life balance scenarios.
Yeah the 737 guys are getting hammered at QF right now. However it’s not forever. At JQ it is. The 787 is senior, and will be out of reach for most in their career in the left seat. Unless it massively expands. I doubt it.
Something tells me the existing JQ 78s will go to QF while JQ will do some interesting stuff with the 321 NEOs. Time will tell.
