They will get approximately double what a Qantas 737 Captain gets for a reserve call out. Their pay isn’t at risk like QF737 T&C but then you wouldn’t know this cause you speak from a position of ignorance not having compared either award. Lifestyle at Jetstar is way better to the point where 737 pilot will be doing 8-12 overnights per 28 days and Jetstar none.

So let me get this right...a JQ A320 Capt gets more money and better lifestyle than a QF 737 Capt. Funnily enough the MOU QF boys and girls that came to JQ for their 120 odd commands used to say otherwise....probably why most went back.

Anyway the JQ pilots will be happy to know that they enjoy better lifestyle than their QF cousins.
