Outside of flight instruction or high paying niche work (firefighting in an 802 air tractor) that’s the way it is here in the US. Corporate flights departments/FBO’s can’t get guys for the command seats. Pretty much the airlines and regionals are sucking up anyone and everyone that has ATP mins and is paying more than the GA jobs with guaranteed advancement.
