Standard procedure to divert to an airport you already use if possible.
MAN to BHX or LHR for EK or BHX to MAN or GLA. First question had they got the staff
to handle flight, second if aircraft broke down could they get maintenance people there,if they are going to do dash and go does it matter other than they have their own guys at NCL or MAN. The days of PIK handling large diversions has probably gone forever except maybe cargo
