A300 questions

Can anyone with A300-600R experience (2 man cockpit) help me with some questions about flying the airplane?

What is the thrust setting at:

1. Level, 250 kts

2. Level, 300 kts

3. on final approach, landing configuration

4. this one maybe a stretch, but how much more thrust is needed for a 1000 ft/min climb at 250 kts and 300 kts? How much less for a descent at 1000 ft/min?

Thanks!
Max

I don't have specific answers but if you can find a copy of the QRH of an A300 have a look at section 13.01-13.03-Unreliable airspeed.
I will quote you a few power settings/pitch attitudes for 140 tons (MLW)
Clean (green dot-225kt) pitch +4 N1 62%
270kt(turb speed) +1.5 73%(Fl100)
S speed +6 66%
F15 speed +6 67%
F20 +6 72%
Gear down F40 +3 65%

The speed trend arrow is very useful

Thanks for the info Tubby! It was extremely helpful. Especially knowing that it has a speed trend arrow! That will help a lot!

Fugitive

It is probably too late now,but if you set Btn 65 to 70% N1 as an initial target thrust you will get near it for all configurations then use minor adjustments for varying weights.
Use a target body angle S & L of 6degrees NU for the ILS roll it to 3 degrees NU and don't mess around with the power.
Airbus state, hand flying ,disconnect the A/Throttle.
Your home and hosed
By the way,for the ILS using auto call out ,a slight flare at 20 - 30 ft and roll on.
Good luck

I say again or should have said, that was for 250 Kts for 300 Kts initially set 75 - 80 % N1,then the same procedure.
These are just target settings of course but will put you in the ball park
