For anyone who is applying and doesn't currently live in HK, I just heard from some CP guys that just started that CX is no longer providing accommodation for your first month in HK. Hope your credit cards have a decent limit

Quite disappointed with the bad management in CX. Will sack ppl soon. Freeze salary. No bonus. No intention to admit their faults. Think twice before joining this firm.

Hi there, could someone clairfy for me whether the AE courses or intake has stopped and will not commence for a while? What about if you have a permanent HKID and have a valid CPL + 250+ hrs?
Also, could someone be kind enough to share how much each cadet gets while at FTA as cadets?

Hi guys,
I have a PPL with almost 110 hours obtained in Aus,
anyone could give me any ideas whether it is too much for the cadet programme,
sounds like most people got it within 70-80 hours for PPL

No hours limit with Cathay Cadet.
Its taken you 110 hours to complete PPL?
Time take to complete PPL can affect by many factors,
Ie Weather, how often you fly, etc..................
Just try applying. Only CX would know if you are suitable.

Good day!
Been going through the threads in past few days and many thanks for the useful inputs
I failed the flight grading (basic) back in 2012 and now I am planning to reapply again. I have heard the CX has cut the flight grading but its website stated the otherwise. Is it true ? Many many thanks bin advance and very best of luck to those who got shortlisted
