2 new ATRs by years end, and all 7 on order delivered by end of July 2016.

A lot of the flight attendants only do around 1 year of service.

There is a extremely high turnover of cabin attendants.
They also probably wanted to get in right before Emirates do their recruiting, which has just kicked off here.

See here (http://www.airnewzealand.co.nz/fleet) . I don't think Eagle require quite the same number of pilots per plane when their aircraft fly on average 4:35 per day compared to 7:10 of the others...
