agreed but you miss my point - in poor weather...

agreed but you miss my point - in poor weather over forested or featureless terrain where you know there is a set of wires, once found then keeping them visual is a far better option than going...

Wires, masts, a mobile crane at a building site, someone putting up a wind turbine etc etc...
