Strathallen airfield and collection

Does anyone know if Strathallen is available for private aircraft? I understand the parachute club still operates from there, as they did in the early 1980s when I last visited. The airfield and museum had closed and most of its aircraft dispersed. I was told at the time that the local council had treated it as an airport and rated it accordingly, the owner said the rates would make it uneconomic, the council said too bad, and one of the country's finest collections and tourist attractions --- Mosquito, Lancaster, Battle etc -- was sold off across the world.

That takes me back: While at Shipdham, I answered a call asking if we had some space over the week-end to put one of their a/c inside. Humm... how big is the a/c? Oh, our Mosquito....... Short pause while I considered who I could boot outside for the duration, but had to say no.
She was sold to Kermit Weeks, who then left her outside in the weather for a while IIRR.
